Updating the blog...
Soooo... NYP's Open House wasnt that bad... got food to eat.. cream puff.. chicken wings and lots and lots of seaweed chicken.. haha.. was literally eating there while waiting to be deploy.. haha.. then after dunno how many hours of waiting.. then we got deployed down to the place to fetch pple for tours around the sku...
but in the meantime while waiting for "business" to come. we literally waited at the counter like some prostitutes like that..hahaha... somehow got that feeling.. like selling urself liddat to tour pple.. so managed to tour this 2 gals together with Victor.. haha.. quite ok la... kinda interesting for us NYP students as well.. to see those interesting life science stuff.. those distillation plant... and life at the Business sku side..
i saw the course offered and hospitality management.. was rather cool la.. their attachment was a 6 months attachment at Walt Disney world at florida... freaking cool i tink ...
Then went for Judo today... today was grading and i screw tings up like realli bad... for the throws.. i did the wrong throws.. then sensei look at mi with the stern face and shook his head.. then i tink and tink and gotten the correct throw.. for the locks...also screwed up.. sort of like dint do correctly.. so felt rather bad bout it..
Just wanna share one of the stories that i love the most.. i dunno whether have any of u read or heard before.. but i find it very nice and beautiful the first time i read it.. and recently.. one of my cell group friend given mi a bookmark which has the story on it! praize the lord man!
So here it goes!
FOotPrints!
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed that he was walking along the beach with the Lord.Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed 2 sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to himself... the other belong to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of life, there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. " Lord, you said that once i decided to follow you, you walk with mi all the way. But i have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I dont understand why when i needed you the most, you would leave mi"
The Lord then replied: " My so, my precious child, i love you and would never leave you. During your times of trials and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."
well.. i certainly hope that u might get something out of the story.. it has realli help mi alot and know that the Lord will not onli be there when u need him.. he will also carry you and lift u out of the situation and lead u thru it!
When i got more stories.. i will post it up.. well. its time for mi to go to lala land.. hopefully can get a dream similar to this.. hahahaa.. so take care people.. =)
