Im FINALLY back to blogging..
Gosh... i was very busy for the past dunno how many days though.. wanted to blog but was alreadi quite tired and lazy also..

Sooo.. let mi update update a bit arh...

Schools officially started last week... first week of sku is so so.. kinda boring.. cox i was involved in the helping out of club crawl for like nearly the whole week... a bit pissed with certain tings.. but overall was ok... still went fine and smooth.. hahhaa.. then at the same time.. i joined like 2 MORE CLUBS! hahaha.. a lot of people was like telling mi that im crazie and out of my mind.. i went to sign up for foreign bodies and Campus Crusade for Christ. hahhaa...

Went to meet Joel on last Friday (18/04/08).. like finally managed to meet up with him... the last time i meet up with him was on my bday... which is like in february.. haha.. so we did quite alot of catch up..

Then went to watch forbidden kingdom with him on Sunday... hahaha. it was rather expensive on a sunday.. GV ticket is like 10 bucks each... But the show was very nice... its very rare to see Jet Li and Jackie Chan team up and make a movie.. hahaha..

THEN.. for this week...

I woke up late like almost every day.. and this whole week.. i cabbed to sku TWICE!.. Twice is a like a bomb to mi la.. one trip there from my house to NYP cost mi 20 bucks... and 2 times is 40 bucks... thats nuts! THANKS TO THE GOVERNMENT for such an increment... and guess wat.. everything else is rising as well... i realli wonder whether the govt is out to make our life miserable... its like making money for the country is ok la.. to target the tourists and such.. but they shld also FOCUS on the Citizens wat... -.-

Nevermind.. i shall not say anything more of that...

Went for Foreign Bodies Audition yesterday... and was practicing the dance there before the showcase.. hahaa.. and i screwed up the audition.. more or less i tink.. but i do hope i can get in la.. hahahaa...

okaye... enough of my crapping and making this entry never ending..

I tink this is gonna be quite a long entry though.. but dun worry.. there will be plenty of pics.. so do read on.. hahhaa...

I have this urge to do something in the blog.. hahaha.. i was thinking of having a story everytime i post an entry and include a quote .. hahahaa.. dunno why.. i feel different blogging now.. dun feel comfortable.. maybe is because too long dint blog or something...

SOoo.. let mi start off the first story.... the story of the star thrower! one of my favourites and very inspirational... some of u guys might have read it before... but for the sake of those who hasnt.. here it is!

Once upon a time, there was a wise man, who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had the habit of walking along the beach before he began his work.

One day he was walking along the shore; as he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day, so he began to walk faster to catch up. As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn't dancing, but instead, he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?" The young man paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing Starfish into the ocean."

"I guess I should have asked; why are you throwing Starfish into the ocean?"

"The sun is up and the tide is going out and if I don't throw them in they'll die."

"But young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach and Starfish all along it, you can't possibly make a difference!"

The young man listened politely, then bent down, picked up another Starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves. "It made a difference for that one."

His response surprised the man, he was upset, he didn't know how to reply, so instead he turned away and walked back to the cottage to begin his writings.

All day long as he wrote, the image of that young man haunted him; he tried to ignore it, but the vision persisted. Finally, late in the afternoon, he realized that he the scientist, he the poet, had missed the essential nature of the young man's actions. Because he realized that what the young man was doing was choosing not to be an observer in the universe and watch it pass by, but was choosing to be an actor in the universe and make a difference. He was embarrassed.

That night he went to bed, troubled. When morning came, he awoke knowing that he had to do something; so he got up, put on his clothes, went to the beach and found the young man; and with him spent the rest of the morning throwing Starfish into the ocean.

I hope u guys liked the story... its realli very inspirational.. at least to mi in my opinion.. hahha.. and as quoted by wat Joel Barker said.. he said this with regards to the story...

"what the young man's actions represent is something that is special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference. And if we can, like the young man, become aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our vision the power to shape the future."

Been realli busy for the past few days... been busy with the Freshmen Orientation 2008.... It was Fun... but tiring as well...

First day...Cabbed to sku... went to pick up shawn.. farah and iman.. hahhaa.. it was rather nice too.. nice as in nice.. i dunno how to describe.. hahhaa.. we met our new freshmen.. some are ok.. some are realli quiet and some are very enthusiastic.. hahahaa.. and wat happens is that i gotten the more of the quiet ones.. they hardly talk to each other for the whole 2 days.. then played some icebreakers.. and thats the time they started talking alot.. cox i keep on getting forfeit.. and have to do stupid and crazie stuff.. like pole dancing with the wall.. going on the stage and shout " HI all.. im alan..." and of course.. going to other classes and tell them "hi my name is alan and can i have ur num baby?"

The second day was fun... cox there are alot more games and such.. and we merge the 3 classes together.. and hence became.. "MF08-0345"... met some new freshmen then.. hahaha.. some sort i was like a "lost sheep taker" .. cox whenever there is lost sheep.. they will be slot into my class and i have to go all the way to pick the new freshmen... but of course there are other new freshmen that got slotted into other classes as well... And of course.. the freshmen are realli cool and that i hope they have enjoyed the orientation.. just as much as we(OGL) has enjoyed ourselves..

hahaha... im finally back to blog after a week or soo... this whole week has just been busy busy busy!!!

Okayes.. let start off with Sunday (30th march)..

Went to my cousin place on sunday.. to celebrate his baby boy.. shane's full month.. the baby is very cute! (like which baby is not cute?! -.-)... then met up with my other cousins as well.. sat there talk crap.. watch tv... then look at baby..

then went off to my mum's saloon... went to shop nearby there... and i bought another SUPERMAN BELT! the previous one was black strap.. logo words "S" is in red and background is white.. then for the new one i bought.. strap is white.. then the logo.. "S" word is red also.. but the background is yellow.. yuppz! the original colour and logo of superman! hahaha..

Then on Monday, Tuesday and wednesday.. im gonna lump all into one whole ting instead of separating.. if not the blog wil be very long.. but NO WORRIES.. i will HAVE PARAGRAPH! ..

So on monday.. went to sku for the briefing.. feels rather weird.. not rather weird.. is very weird. cox i dunno anybody there beside my class people.. as i dint go for camp eagles.. then manage to slot my name in and my partner is iman.. to be a class OGL.. MF0803! thats the class iman and i will be taking! hahah.so gonna rocks their socks off man! hahahaa.. then did the campus tour.. it was so so and ok for mi la..

Tuesday was okaye.. met some new friends alreadi.. then go thru some realli boring registration stuff.. and do the performance for the orientation programme on monday.. its was like a "so-so" day for mi on tues.. kinda tiring also...

Wednesday was FUN! wednesday was like games day.. cox we needa go thru the dry run for the games.. ( its like trainers camp in my sec sku... how i miss those days)... but of course it was not run in a camp style.. and that i realli have alot of fun playing those games.. especially the NYP hunt! goodness. it was fun la! but too bad ONLY DPE classes get to play that.. hahaha.. then found out some "funnie" stuff inside as well.. those who went shld know wat im talking bout.. haha.. but overall. the wednesday one is the most fun! but tiring as well la! cox its physical and such.. and of course.. this time i make more new friends.. and guess wats our group name??

Oh ya.. forgot to say.. Iman .. celest and i was recalled back for an reaudition as student Emcees for NYP Graduation Ceremony 2008... some discrapencies... and i wont wanna go into details...

And Lastly! Congratulation to those selected to be Instructors in Dunman LTC 08!
i was actually pondering whether to write how i feel or to make it a nice one.. but anyway... i wasnt called back for a long time.. ever since sec 3 that time.. after that camp.. i wasnt called back anymore.. and sec 3 that time i was selected as sub committee... well.. there are alot of people that says that the committee is bias and that they onli choose the same bunch of people whom they like.. apparently.. it seem to be the case.. but i dun realli know how it goes.. cox seriously ar.. there are A LOT of other ex leaders from the sku far better than those whom they choose.. but they never get chosen.. i dunno why.. and every year.. i see the same old bunch of people getting selected year after year.. im NOT saying that im realli gud or wat.. im just thinking that am i really that inferior to those people in there.... and that i can confidently say that during that time when i was sec 3.. i gave in all my best and that i can assurely say that i performed well in LTC camp.. im happie for those who got in... glad that some came to mi and ask mi bout it.. but not happie that every year the same old bunch of people keep on get selected..

Kinda irony ah.. many came and ask mi if i got selected.. and that they THOUGHT and feel that i was selected.. but i wasnt selected for dunno how many years alreadi... and its like a cycle... every time they get the same old people going back.. then they never widened their scope to see those OUTSIDE of those people whom they always chose and stick to...for mi.. i know im crazie 90% of the time la.. and that i do stupid and crazie stuff all the time..i know their impression of mi is that im a happie go lucky fella and never get ting done.. but u know wat? people do change and its 5 years alreadi.. and that when im serious.. i get tings done... and it just realli make mi think.. is it whether im realli that bad and lousy and inferior or that they are just simply bias and one sided?? i dun even know why im writing all these.. all i wanted was just to go back and help and serve the sku in camps.. even though i graduated.. as i love camps.. and that i hope the fellow junior can learn something from me.. but they never ever calls mi back.. not once ever since year 2004...of course i can go request for it. but if i do that.. then thats not genuine anymore.. cox they never wanted in the first place..

i guess life is never fair.. and never will be... so might as well live with it.. i wish them all the best from the bottom of my heart though... =)
