NYP CLUB CRAWL 2009!

Hey Yo!!!

NYP Club Crawl has finally come to a close for the year of 2009!
A BIG thank you to all those that has came down to Support Foreign Bodies Performance!!! thank you!!

Club Crawl Day 1!

Well... Day 1 was the day where we had the most number of people signing up for audition... but personally to mi .. Day 1 wasnt realli good for mi ...

After the introduction by the Emcees... the music was on.... cyphering started...
At that moment.. all i can think off is my steps... and i was so not prepared.. but the show has started.. and it has to go on.. so with all i got.. i went out... did the guys cheoro with all i can...

Rushed out immediately after Guys Hip Hop to change into Lyrical costume.. and i have to thank my friends who are in student union.. they had kindly given mi a space to change.. hahaha! okaye.. back to the topic...

After changing.. went back into queue for Lyrical item.. but something happened.. the place was really dry.. my throat suddenly starts to choke up... i desparately look for water.. but aint enough time... so having no choice.. i went out and did lyrical in a realli choked up throat... Immediately ran out and grab water after lyrical.. if not i tink i will end up in the hospital... its so dry that i cant realli breathe la..

Mass Dance for the first day was alright for mi.. not too much of mistakes..

And after the whole entire performance.. there are like Tons of people queueing up at Fbodz booth to sign up for audition...

but to be realli honest.. DAy 1 Performance really wasnt my best .. and i have to admit im realli not on form on day 1.

Club Crawl Day 2!

Alright Day 2 ! hahahaha.. i guess i was too demoralised from Day 1 that i told myself i die die must feel the music and the vibe on day 2.. So i kept reminding myself that im gonna kill it on DAy 2...

WHOo hoo.. DAy 2 indeed was much better! i was realli on form compared to day 1...
give all out for all my genres and of course mass dance as well! hahahaa.. but a slight mistakes i made during mass dance was i fell down!~ hahha!!!

i was supposed to kneel and slide to sherlyn.. but who knows, the floor was so slippery that i slided too fast.. and hence i have to make an emergency stop which i fell in the end.. if not i will hit onto sherlyn! hahaha!

Some comments given by the Seniors!

Ian: The entire show was alot better than the past 2 years.. Energy Level was realli there and it was overall a very good show... a little part to improve is that there are too many Hip hop Songs.. can go into more genres.... but song choices are good this year!

Rachel: You( as in mi) are very enthusiastic.. which is good.. energy level is there and u have improved!

Nicholas Phua: You have certainly improved ever since i last saw you During Production.. the control is there.. and the accent is there... good job! overall.. All the Juniors have improved alot.. Keep it up!

Alright thats the comment i gotten from these 3 seniors.... i was realli relieved and elated that they have agreed that i have improved! Whoot! shall continue to work hard on Dance... =)

There are a total of 558 people who signed up for Fbodz Audition.... and might be more as there might be people who didnt sign up but wanna come for audition... watever the case is... GOOD JOB EVERYONE! =)

Alright.. its Monday 12:35am now.... im gonna blog some stuff before i head for the bed.. because somehow i can foresee mi not updating the blog for the next few days due to Upcoming club crawl Performances in NYP ..

Foreign Bodies will be performing for NYP Club Crawl 2009 on the 22nd and 23rd April, which is this coming week, 2 days from now...

Went for NDP training on Saturday.. and well... the training was kinda alright for mi.. not very easy to catch the routine.. and a lil sad part for mi is that i wont be playing the drums... but the Tamborins instead...

i'll elaborate on the NDP training another time...

Went for Strikeforce Ministry Training.. and learnt the other parts of "Hot Summer" the song.. went for dinner after that at Clarke quay Central....

and followed by that was tons of photos taking and doing alot of crazy stuff... hahaha.. i certainly dun have the pics right now.. will post it up once i have them...

well.. to sum it up... i pretty much enjoyed my last day of my holidays with the strikeforce people... it has been realli realli fun with u guys.. thanks for everything!

On a more serious note.. would like to probably apologise to Genesis for wat happen.. i wont say wat happen la.. but i tink i shld apologise.... Dun worry.. i wont say anything out...

Alright.. School is starting in less than 24 hours time... how i wish time can just freeze now for a while...

For those peeps that are going into Poly first year, Enjoy and have fun in a totally new environment and with ur new friends as well...

For the older ones that has been in poly alreadi... well.. just move with the flow yea.. and may all good things be blessed upon u guys.. be it ur studies, projects, friends, CCAs and many more...

I dunno why.. but as i looked at them dance... i can feel them and i can feel the music... to be honest.. this set of cheorography for mario's kryptonite was realli touching for mi ...its like i can feel the emotions and whatsnots thru the dance.. i dunno bout u .. but for mi ... i can realli see and feel all these.. i can realli see the bond and the strength that they have and the effort they put in in this cheorography..

Seriously.. im starting to become a fan of Erik Saradpon! Hes dope! His cheorography never fail to wow mi!

Went to church yesterday for Easter Service... Very "lucky" i have to say... cox when i was walking to church from the bus stop out in the open.. and without warning... WHAMP! a HUGE downpour of rain just came down like that! and the sky sure did give no mercy... so i ran all the way into expo.. and when i reached... i was drenched...

But luckily.. expo aircon was pretty strong.. so my clothes dried up pretty fast... as for my hair.. i always have my Gatsby moving rubber and hairspray inside my bag! and well.. it sure does come handy in times like this! ahhahaa!!!!

The service was good... when it was altar call.. seeing all the newcomers give their life to the Lord.. it just realli reminded mi of the earlier days when i gave my life to Him.. it was realli a great feeling and it realli brought mi back to the first love that i had for Him...

Strikeforce Gig/ TPDE Concert/Gathering with the peeps/

P4 Trainings!

Hey YO YO!!Im Finally back to blog as promised! =D

Certainly been a tight and busy week for mi i have to say.. so lets break it down yea!

Strikeforce Gig!

Last Saturday i had my very first Gig with the strikeforce at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Jurong point... it was thoroughly awesome for mi.. different experience once again... Unfortunately, i dun have the vids for the performance... so yea...

TPDE!

Headed for TPDE concert after i reached home and get changed into a fresh set of clothings...

TPDE this year... to be honest.. it wasnt realli as good as last year... certain part of their segment was dope.. but the rest were just okok for mi...overall.. i would say its good.. but im very sure there are more rooms for improvements! =D

Gathering with the Peeps!

Rushed off for gathering with Joyce, Kho, Roger and Suherman after strikeforce Ministry training... and watched this movie called Detriot Metal City (D.M.C)...
the movie was super hilarious.. although im not a fan of heavy metal music or death metal music.. but i guess the movie has brought mi to a different perspective to look from... from a view of those who loves Heavy Metal Music...

Had Long John for Dinner.. and do quite alot of catching up during dinner... i guess it has been a long long time since we last did that.. or at least for mi i suppose... so it was pretty fruitful and enjoyable! looking forward to the next gathering! =)

Strikeforce Performance @ the opening of 7ate9 Bar in esplanade!

After Work... went to do a bit of Shopping on my own cox i kinda ended pretty much earlier before the stipulated meeting time.. so had to kill some time.. headed over to Citylink.. and Marina Square.. checked out Surf and splash at citylink.. and the ripcurl shirt i wanted is still there! phew! im so gonna get it once i got my paycheque! hahahaha... unless someone wanna sponsor mi... =x

Headed over to the Esplanade with the strikeforce peeps and made more new friends! The strikeforce performance was dope.... for the rest.. it was kinda alright...
The Bartender dropped his bottle and the liquour bottle smashed into pieces... well mishap do happens sometimes i guess... The Dance item was ok.. cant realli feel them dancing... i dunno why... its like the "feel" is not there when the dancers danced.... and they werent realli on the beat i have to say...

P4 Training (Wednesday)

Headed to Strikeforce P4 training after work... Learnt about beats on Space Jams, Rock beats, Long triplets and half time funky... it wasnt realli easy to catch in the beginning.. but once got the hang of it.. its pretty alright i guess.. hahaha..

Went together to have dinner with the rest of the them after training... and apparently... Red (he is a guy)... showcased his arm twisting skills after dinner and he certainly wowed the Auntie there! hahahhaa!

P4 Training (Thursday)

Rushed over for P4 training because i was stuck in the office searching for apartments for one of the agents as she needs it urgently..

P4 training was alot better.. due to the previous practice that i went...

Headed for Dinner as well after training.. but this time it was alot lesser people... initially wanted to head for Astons for dinner.. but the queue was horrendous.. so in the end.. we ended up at the same place we had our dinner the day before... yea.. the same coffeeshop that red wowed the auntie at.

GOOD MORNING PEOPLE!

its apparently 7:40am on a friday morning right now..

The most ridiculous ting is that i slept at 4am... and i woke up at 6:50 am! tried to get back to sleep but i just canttttt! i dunno wats wrong with my body lately.. been doing so much ting.. and when its time to sleep.. i onli slept awhile...

SO... let mi see wat im gonna have today later on...

Gonna probably go find black cargo pants.. because tomorrow (4th april), im gonna have my very first gig (performance) with Strikeforce... at the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Jurong Point!

then after that.. is heading down to School for Guys hip hop practice for club crawl.... dunno how its gonna go.... oh yea! the seniors are flying off to TAIWAN today! BON VOYAGE! =D

after which... im gonna rush off for Strikeforce training for tmr performance... i went on wed alreadi.. but i still wanna perfect it and brush it up.. so shall head down for training one more time.. wouldnt want to screw up anything tmr!

Next week onwards.. i will be working at Colossian Real Estate again.. because the clerk is on holidays again.. so they called mi back to work once again....hopefully i hasnt forget much of everything! hahahhaa! to be honest.. its been 6 months alreadi since i last worked there!

im looking forward to this sunday with the peeps! been soooo long since i last saw them.. Mae and Celest are gonna fly off to China for their overseas FYP soon.. but i dunno when.. but sadly. i can onli join them for dinner.. due to Strikeforce Ministry Training Time.. but its okaye... at least i still get to meet them!
