Just a Little Update (i guess)
Alrighty! i have just woke up not long ago at 3am.... to finish up some assignments that i have on hand... all the mundane stuff that has to be done... (Yes.. this is how crazy i can get when it comes to work!)
Im currently Spamming Kenny G's Music on my Notebook man... His music just never fails to calm mi down when everything is in their ups and downs... i was just thinking if im in the US right now... I'll probably do the same ting in a nice cozy room drinking Latte or Cappucino.. Working my ass off but yet enjoy and indulge in the simplest ting at the same time.
So let mi see wat can i update....
National Day Parade!
Alright.. there has been some changes to NDP performances regarding the drumming parts.. so hence i will be playing the drums!!!! instead of the tamborins... and its gonna be in this segment whereby onli less than 30 drummers will be on stage drumming in the drumline... its superbly cool i have to say...
Went for NDP training on Labour Day and i have to say its definitely a time i realli learnt something new... to be honest.. i never read music scores before and i dunno how to either... but thanks to all my great mate from Strikeforce... they realli taught mi slowly as to how to realli read and understand music scores... Thanks Guys!
Then the NDP Chairman ( i tink) came and spoke to us to say welcome and stuff... and he actually somehow told us the programme of NDP and when we come out and perform and stuff ... i dunno if i can release anything on my blog for now because the press has not released yet... but this year... its truly different from the other years.. because Drumming will be heavily focused in this year NDP... and just by listening to wat he say.. i have to say i felt excited for it... and no doubt this will be my biggest show ever.....
The Chairman even break down the numbers of people we will be performing to...
1 show @ Marina Bay, The Float = 27,000 People
5 shows @ Marina Bay, The Float = 27,000 X 5 = 135,000 people
(4 previews and 1 actual show)
And of course the actual show will include live recording and plus the nations watching.. that will be... Millionsssss!!!!
Okaye alright.. hes just trying to stress how big the show is and how focus we have to be because if one person make a mistake.. its pretty obvious especially in drumming because its is sounds and stuff...
alright.. lets move on!
Foreign Bodies!
Okaye... Audition is this upcoming thursday and friday @ A239, right beside Theatre for the Arts!
Im amazed as to how time can really flies... So fast im a senior alreadi! it just realli seem like its yesterday that i have made a big decision to even try out the auditions @ Fbodz... and of course after that.. going for practice every friday... just kinda miss the good old days... now that we are all seniors... time will be allocated to the new batch of Juniors that are coming in... and as a matter of fact.. i seriously have no confidence in becoming a senior.. because i seriously know my vocab in DAnce is still super limited... and i shld have known alot more than wat i know by now.. and i realli gotta improve in DAnce... no matter wat it is... i still have to improve!!!
i guess like im so caught up with so many activities nowadays that as i look back.. i kinda miss the guy who started out confidently in Dance.. even when he just knew that lil much on DAnce... i guess if u guys look back as well.. u all will agree that the confident boy whos never afraid to try, even though he might be wrong, is somehow missing in action... i hope he comes back soon....
Nonetheless.. all the best to all those that are going for the Audition to try to get into Fbodz... GOOD LUCK!
A Small Little Thank....
i was on the bus the other day and i was just thinking.. how come im so caught up with so many tings nowadays... but then looking at it from another angle... somehow God has realli blessed mi in the tings that i realli wanted...
i never knew i would get into FBodz... but somehow in some part of myself.. i do realli wanna be a part of it... and God just realli knows.. i mean he knows all things! -.-
but getting into FBodz... it certainly changed my life in one big turn... Knowing all the hiphopish and probably the coolest people in my life ever has certainly enriched my life even more...
i just wanna thank FBodz for helping mi become wat i am today because if its not for them.. i'll probably still be someone who doesnt know much bout Dance and still thinks im damn good in dance.. so yea.. thanks FBodz for realli letting me know what Dance realli is!
For Strikeforce... i haven forgotten u guys.. although it has been just a mere 2 months ever since we all got to know each other.. but i feel realli good and fantastic being able to drum along with u guys... and one amazing ting bout my entry to strikeforce is that... on the day i signed up... they were SUPPOSEDLY to end their recruitment.. but they have requested to have one more day of recruitment.. and so happened.. i signed up on that day...
actually i have given alot of thoughts about joining... and there is this part of mi that is urging mi to Join... and somehow.. when i wrote the applications and go thru the interviews.. i just know i have to go ahead with it.. even though im all alone when i first joined...
And amazingly.. i got in as well.. i dunno wats the reason that im chosen (the same goes for FB).. but watever the reason is.. im sure God has His ways of doing tings...
I just feel realli blessed to be in these 2 big families of Foreign Bodies and Strikeforce Respectively... and yes.. definitely the greatest thanks goes to HIM for blessing mi with all these wonderful people in my life...
Alright... shall stop here!! i've wrote more than wat i planned to.. its supposed to be a LITTLE update... guess it aint that little anymore.. =x
