The Very FIRST NDP National Education Show!
Whoo Hoo! NDP First National Education show was realli successful! Everyone realli enjoyed themselves thru out the entire show!
Lets break it down from the morning !
Reached Eunos Station at bout 1030am to grab the chartered bus by NDP people.. and then waited for time to pass... and then something shocking came... Glorianne arrived and i saw her shoe bag... and i realised i FORGOT my costume shoes! it literally dawned on mi that out of all the tings i brought.. i left out one of the most important item..
Called my dad immediately to ask him to bring it down for mi to cityhall station... realli thanks to him for bringing my shoes down.. if not i can forget bout performing for that day....
Rushed down to the F1 grand stand to meet up with the rest.. and headed out to the holding area... Had a dry run at our podiums.. and this time.. all of us were given In ear monitor (I.E.M).... its sounds kinda cool though.. like everytime we watch concerts and stuff.. we often see those artists wearing ear monitors..and sometimes i do wonder wat they are they listening.. is it the people talking at the controls or is it the musics that they are supposed to do???
and so this time.. i had one myself too.. and for mine.. we are listening to the music that we have to play..and play according to the what we hear from the ear monitor...
we were told to perform even if its a dry run.. so i gave my best shot.. did watever i could on my podium.. and wats realli delighted mi was when i was walking back to the stairs.. those army officers that was around my area spoke to mi and complimented me for my performance.. was realli delighted that they enjoyed the "performance"
back at the holding area.. rested... lunched... slacked.. chill.... to be honest.. almost 70% of the time at NDP rehearsals.. we were chillin and slackin.. heading to 7-11 for drinks... cam whore... and stuff...
then not long after we rested.. we got changed into our costume to prepare for the actual preview in the evening.. and then.. we saw an incoming of ladies.... the make up artist... hahaha! well.. felt like a star though... had professional make up artists to help with the make up... although im quite reluctant for the make up.. but no choice...
Had some photo shoots with "The Straits Times" Newspaper as they are featuring Neo in it.. Bloco Singapura was on Newpaper... then after that.. it was Camwhore time all the way!

Stood up at my podium and the sight was just simply awesome.. one whole sea of kids in red.. and then the music came... Performed like to the max and thoroughly enjoyed myself performing... and then 1 rolling camera (as in those that broadcast) and 2 NDP photographers with the cameras were right infront of me snapping me right in the face.. hahahaa... BUT somehow.. i tink i not good looking.. so dun have the pics.. tried finding it.. but dun have..must be the looks i tink.. hahaha!!
okok... get back to topic...
Changed for Chapt 5... and Grinded sparks and played for the chapter... super shiok the feeling... indescribable! Must watch chapt 5! u wont wanna miss it... Ian told us that if got chance... we ourselves must watch chapt 5.. because its a chapt that is one of the highlights.. and the music.. lighting effects, pyro and fireworks are realli amazing...
Then changed, again, to get ready for the Grand Finale...
Headed out to the stage for the grand finale... and we were alreadi quite high.. but guess wat! when the fireworks shoot up.. the moment it went.. just AS IF it was planned... THE RAIN POURED! and it gets bigger and bigger!
BUT Nobody flinged or tried seeking for shelter.. all of us stood there and partied even more like nobody business.... the rain just simply added an even higher climax to the entire finale.. the Kids were too high themselves too! Even the Minster of Defence, Mr Teo Chee Hean, was in the rain himself.. he was soaked too... but i guess this is wat we call one united people...
it was also my very first time seeing and being in an NDP whereby it rained... first time singing the National Anthem and saying the pledge in the rain... it was definitely a very memorable experiences for all of us... one that would realli last make us realli remember that day of NDP 2009 very first NE show...
To sum it up... i would say NDP NE Show 1 Rocked the most till date... but im sure on the actual day.. it will be even better!
