Alrightyy.. Haven been updating the blog since Feburary... So many things had happened from feb till now... literally too many to even list it out..
21st Birthday was AWESOME! i cant believe my house can actually take in that huge amount of guests that attended my birthday party... THANK guys for making my birthday sucha memorable one..
Internship at Wincor was shitty... wasnt realli wat i wanted though... in terms of its job description.. but i still made it thru.. in a blink of an eye.. 10 weeks just whizz pass.. and i gotten a realli good results with regards to internship.. wahahaha!
Following that was Graduation Ceremony! Loved that day.. it was so hectic since morning .. cox the reporting time is at freaking 7:15am.. but u know.. being singaporeans.. lateness is a compliment.. so well. was a wee bit late.. but nonetheless still in time.. changed.. dawn on the "Holy" harry potter gown.. and tadah~ off we go to the auditorium! :D
Ms Chan was the one reading my names.. pretty honoured to have one of my closest lecturer in school and not to mention.. my Year 1 Comm Skills Lecturer to read my names.. Without her.. i wont have all the recommendation for to emcee Graduation Ceremony 2007 and Engineering Week 2007!
Had one whole load of photos taking after the ceremony.. apparently.. the photos aint ready yet.. so i cant post it up.. yeap..
After Graduation.. was Gigs after gigs at different venue.. the latest being the one at the New Marina Bay Intergrated Resorts- Marina Bay Sands for Microsoft launching event.Gig was good.. and i had a good time performing! :)
At the same time.. Asia Conference was in the midst as well! headed to help Strikeforce with their booth and then attending service after that..
Asia Conference was a blast i have to say.. though most of the time sitting in overflow area was sucky.. but nonetheless.. it was good.. esp the finale.. Fantabulous with Dr. A.R. Bernard's sermon!
June wasnt a good start.. for the deferment for YOG failed.. haiz.. meaning i have to freaking enlist on Aug 2nd.. and high chances of not being able to perform for YOG.. URGHHH!
Just sent off Soon wee yesterday at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.. its a feeling i dunno how to put it.. seeing all the faces on the people booking in.. oh gosh.. soon its gonna be my turn! i totally dunno how im gonna fathom how im gonna feel on that day.. losing freedom for 2 years and having to be a dog some how.. National Slavery as they called it..
But oh well.. im keeping things positive and having an open mind.. hope it might at least help. ):
Went out with Joel today.. and accompanied him to upper serangoon to return a helium tank.. and oh boy was it a bad experience.. this is the VERY FIRST TIME the both of us actually get asked to get off the cab! i cant believe that attitude of the taxi driver.. and such people exist..
We wanted to head down to heartland mall after returning the tank.. cox its not say very far .. but not near either.. so we wanted the taxi driver to wait .. as in i will be inside the cab while Joel returns the tank.. and then continue the journey to heartland mall..
He told us that he cant park his cab there and wait for Joel.. so we suggested him turning one round.. i will stay in the cab.. and then turn one round back to fetch Joel.. Upon reaching.. he told us..
"Please find another cab... its the same right.. u can get another cab to fetch u to heartland mall once u finish ur stuff... so get off the cab"
im astonished as to wat im hearing from this cab driver.. its not like we are asking to take us on a free ride.. we are giving him business for goodness sake.. just a simple turn and then back to the spot to pick Joel up.. thats all! and he refuses..
Fine.. so we alighted.. and after returning the tank .. its dumb to flag another cab with another flag down fee and then travel like a few kilometres to Heartland mall.. so we decided to walk.. Bad idea...with the sun shining merciless on our head.. walking there is crazy.. all thanks to the taxi driver.
Nonetheless .. still made it there. had lunch there.. and headed back to tampines.. Bought an Addidas Response today! Gonna start hitting the tracks and run! wahaha! shiokness.. :D
